New Patient Exams

We always welcome new patients and we look forward to helping you achieve optimal dental health.

The dental new patient exam is a simple checkup for people who are visiting the dentist for the first time. During the exam, the dentist will carefully look at your teeth, gums, and mouth to make sure everything is healthy. They may take some X-rays to see inside your teeth and check for any hidden problems. The dentist will also ask you some questions about your dental history and any concerns you may have. The main goal of this exam is to help the dentist understand your oral health and create a plan to keep your smile bright and healthy. It's a crucial step in taking care of your teeth and preventing any potential issues.

If you need a full check up, or have a specific issue or an emergency, contact our team and they will assist you to book your appointment.

Implants

Implants are an excellent option for patients who have lost one or more teeth due to injury, decay, or other reasons.

Dental implants are a long-lasting and reliable solution for missing teeth, with a success rate of up to 98%. They also help to maintain the bone density of the jaw, preventing the bone loss that can occur with other tooth replacement options.

The implant process is performed over a period of a few months.

The first step is to surgically place the implant, where a screw is placed into the jawbone.

After a healing period of 4 to 6 months. The last step is performed when a custom-made crown or bridge is attached to the abutment, creating a natural-looking and functional replacement tooth.

Multiple Implants can be placed at the same time if necessary.

Dentures are removable dental appliances and can be made of acrylic resin or metal, and are custom-fitted to the patient's mouth for comfort and functionality.

Dentures come in two types - complete dentures, which replace all teeth in the upper or lower jaw, and partial dentures, which replace one or more missing teeth.

They can improve chewing ability, speech, and facial appearance, and are a cost-effective solution for missing teeth.

At our dental clinic, we offer comprehensive denture services, including fabrication, adjustment, and maintenance.

A root canal may be necessary if you have an infected or damaged tooth pulp. This can cause pain and swelling, and if left untreated, can lead to tooth loss. The root canal procedure removes the infected or damaged pulp, cleans and disinfects the tooth, and fills it with a material to prevent further infection or decay. This can relieve pain and save the tooth from extraction.

Teeth whitening can be a good choice for patients who want to improve the appearance of their smile and boost their confidence. This treatment can help remove stains caused by aging, tobacco use, certain foods or drinks, and poor oral hygiene. It is important to note that teeth whitening may not be suitable for everyone, and it's best to consult with your dentist to determine if it is the right choice for you.

Porcelain Bridges

A dental bridge is a prosthetic device used to replace missing teeth by filling the gap between two remaining teeth. The bridge consists of two crowns that are placed over the adjacent teeth, and a false tooth (or teeth) in between. Dental bridges can be a good option for patients who have one or more missing teeth, as they can improve the appearance of their smile, restore their ability to chew and speak properly, and prevent the remaining teeth from shifting out of place. Dental bridges are typically recommended for patients who have healthy teeth on either side of the gap, and who are not suitable candidates for dental implants. However, it's best to consult with your dentist to determine if a dental bridge is the right choice for you.

Crowns

Dental crowns are protective coverings that are placed over a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its shape, size, and strength. The crown is typically made of materials such as porcelain or ceramic, and is custom-made to fit your tooth precisely. The crown is cemented onto the remaining tooth structure, covering it completely to protect it from further damage or decay.

Crowns are a long term option for treating health issues as they last for up to 15 years, And can also improve the appearance of your teeth and enhance your overall oral health.

Dental crowns can prevent damaged or weakened teeth from deteriorating.

Fillings

The dentist removes the decayed or damaged part of the tooth and fills the area with a material such as composite resin. This restores the tooth's shape and function, and prevents further decay or damage. Fillings can be done in a single appointment and are a common and effective way to treat cavities. They can also be used to repair minor chips or cracks in teeth. With proper oral hygiene, fillings can last for many years.

Hygiene & Exams

Dental hygiene and exams are essential for maintaining good oral health; they are the most important part in your oral health and contribute to the health of your entire body. During the cleaning, the dental hygienist removes any plaque or tartar buildup that may have accumulated on your teeth. This helps prevent cavities and gum disease.

The dentist will also examine your teeth, gums, and mouth for any signs of potential health problems. Regular dental exams and good oral hygiene habits, such as brushing and flossing regularly, can help prevent oral health problems and ensure that any issues are caught early and treated promptly.

Studies suggest that oral bacteria and the inflammation associated with a severe form of gum disease (periodontitis) might play a role in some diseases. And certain diseases, such as diabetes and HIV/AIDS, can lower the body's resistance to infection, making oral health problems more severe.

What conditions can be linked to oral health? Your oral health might contribute to various diseases and conditions, including:

Invisalign

Invisalign and traditional braces are both orthodontic treatments that can straighten teeth and correct bite issues. Invisalign is a clear aligner system that is virtually invisible and can be removed for eating and cleaning, while traditional braces use metal brackets and wires to move teeth into the correct position.

Advantages of Invisalign:

  • Virtually invisible
  • More comfortable
  • Removable for easy oral hygiene

Tooth extractions

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. This may be necessary if a tooth is damaged beyond repair, is causing pain or infection, or is causing crowding or misalignment of other teeth.

Before an extraction, restorative options such as fillings, root canal therapy and Dental crowns are considered.

Wisdom tooth extraction is a common dental procedure that involves removing third molars located at the back of the mouth to prevent potential oral health issues. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or sedation, and patients may experience some discomfort, swelling, and bleeding afterward. Post-operative care is necessary to promote healing and prevent complications.

Tooth extractions are less invasive nowadays, thanks to the advancement in dentistry.

As a team of skilled professionals we will do our best to help ease stress and provide comfort throughout the process.
